MAC’s NFL Best Bet
1:00 PM ET - Tampa Bay at Washington
The rumor is Tom Brady had a candy corn hangover when they lost 36-27 to a New Orleans Saints team playing without their starting QB. This week they go against the Washington Social Justice Warriors led by a guy they call Heinicke, some call him “HineyKisser”. Washington is 25th in the NFL in scoring offense (19.5 points per game), and Heinicke has passed for 11 touchdowns and 9 interceptions while completing 63.9 percent of his passes. As for Tampa, well it’s hard to imagine that Tom Brady and company are going to lose to a team that may or may not have linebackers auditioning for gay musicals in the off-season. Now that being said, movers and shakers are ambivalent to play Tampa, they have failed to cover in their last 5 meetings with teams from the NFC East + they are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games. The move here is a easy one for the smart money, play the over and watch Tom Brady route the non-existent Washington defense.
MAC’s Prediction
Tampa Bay 31 - Washington 21

Maryland Terrapins at Michigan State Spartans (-13)
When: Saturday, 4 PM ET
Where: Spartan Stadium
TV: Fox
Stream: Fox Sports Go
Radio: Tunein.com
Whenever a team registers a massive win, there is always the chance of a letdown the following week. That is exactly what happened to the Michigan State Spartans in Week 10. After a huge win over Michigan, a victory that got them into a playoff spot, the Spartans came out and played a stinker in a loss to Purdue last weekend. The question now is how they will respond to that defeat, because they are still very much in the conversation for both the playoffs and an appearance in the Conference Championship Game. The Spartans have been a good bet this season, going 6-2-1 ATS. The Maryland Terrapins have now failed to cover the spread in 8 straight games versus conference foes.
Lester “6 Clips” Cullen’s Prediction
Maryland 33 Michigan State 51
Quick Trends:
Spartans are 6-1-2 ATS in their last 9 games overall.
Spartans are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 conference games
Terrapins are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
Terrapins are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss
Northwestern Wildcats (+24) at Wisconsin Badgers
When: Saturday, 12 PM ET
Where: Camp Randall Stadium
TV: ESPN2
Radio: Sirius/XM 83
The Big Ten Conference is a bit of a mess in terms of figuring out who will be in the Conference Championship game later this season. This is particularly true in the West Division, where we have no less than 4 teams sitting with a 4-2 record in conference play. The Wisconsin Badgers are one of those teams and look like a strong favorite against Northwestern, who has gone just 1-5 SU in conference play. We are, though, looking at the point spread here, and I have to say that those 24 points look like just a bit too much. While the Wildcats are just 3-6 ATS in their last 9 games overall, they are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 versus the Badgers. Wisconsin has covered in 4 of their last 5, but I think they come up a little short here.
MAC’s Prediction
Northwestern 27 Wisconsin 41
Quick Trends:
Wildcats are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in November
Wildcats are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a straight up loss.
Badgers are 13-6-1 ATS in their last 20 games in November.
Underdog is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.
Wildcats are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings.
Texas A&M Aggies (- 2 ½) at Ole Miss Rebels
When: Saturday, 7 PM ET
Where: Vaught-Hemingway Stadium at Hollingsworth Field
TV: ESPN
Radio: ESPN Radio
As it stands right now, the Alabama Crimson Tide appear to have the inside track on the SEC West Division and a spot in the SEC Conference Championship Game. That said, there is a scenario where they can be pipped at the post, but for that to happen, they would need to drop 1 more game, while the Texas A&M Aggies would need to go unbeaten the rest of the way. The Aggies have been rolling of late, but they have a tough road game against Ole Miss coming this weekend. The Aggies have been a great road bet, covering the spread in each of their last 5 games away from home. Ole Miss is just 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games versus teams from the SEC West.
RedAlertWagers.com Prediction
Texas A&M 17 Mississippi 27
Quick Trends:
Rebels are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.
Rebels are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games after accumulating more than 280 yards passing in their previous game.
Rebels are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.
Rebels are 9-3-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
