8:15 PM ET New Orleans at Arizona
The Saints lost to Cincinnati, but New Orleans was in charge for most of the game. The key reason to like the Saints is because in their past three contests, the offense has played great. New Orleans scored 25 versus Minnesota, 39 against the Seahawks, and 26 in the loss to Cincinnati. Also, the Saints had chances to beat the Vikings and the Bengals.
Kyler Murray’s favorite target returns to the field. DeAndre Hopkins had to serve out a 6-game suspension. Hopkins will be ready to go on Sunday and should bolster a Cardinals’ offense that has struggled in the past few weeks. The defense has played great. So if the offense can step it up, the Cardinals should cover the spread.
New Orleans heads to Arizona knowing they should be on a 3-game winning streak. The Saints almost upset the Vikings in London in NFL Week 4. Then in NFL Week 5, New Orleans beat the Seattle Seahawks. In their last game, which happened last Sunday, the Saints couldn’t hang on to a lead against the Bengals. The almost victories are a good enough reason to back the Saints versus the worse team they’ve played in their last four contests. The Saints’ offense should be motoring on all cylinders no matter if Andy Dalton or Jameis Winston starts at quarterback. New Orleans has started to utilize Taysom Hill in more ways than just at tight-end, Alvin Kamara is back, and the Saints receivers are healthier this week. Arizona will be better with Hopkins on the sidelines. But DeAndre won’t have enough of an impact in his first game for the Cardinals to keep pace on the scoreboard. New Orleans wins straight up.
Play: New Orleans +125
Andy Dalton (NO) Total Passing Yards - Over 217.5 Passing Yards +105
Andy Dalton (NO) Total Completions - Over 18.5 Completions -115
Kyler Murray (ARI) Total Passing Yards - Under 246.5 Passing Yards -105
